OSD Picture-in-Picture is a PlugIn that displays the current channel in a small box on the screen (default upper right corner). You can switch up and down now, watching the progress of the previous channel in the box. Best picture quality is achieved using 128 colors variable palette mode. You can decide which frames to play, best results are achieved when displaying I- and P-frames. From 0.0.3 on, the plugin supports four modes: grayscaled (16 colors), grayscaled (256 colors), 256 colors with fixed palette and 128 colors with a variable palette. If you want 256/128 colors, you'll need to upgrade your VDR to support a 256 color OSD and variable palettes with the provided patching instruction. You can choose the color depth in the setup menu. If you didn't patch VDR appropriately, you'll only be able to choose grayscaled mode. With 0.0.2, the plugin has the possibility to choose the PiP size (in the setup menu in 6 steps) and position (by moving it around using number keys) as well as crop dimensions. With 0.0.4, a little window containing information about the current channel is displayed additionally. With 0.0.5, you don't need a patch anymore if you are using VDR >= 1.3.7. The 256-color and the 128-color variable mode will work out-of-the-box ATTENTION: To have the position saved, you have to enter the plugin's setup menu and hit the ok button.
